Matej Mamic was one of the most influential Croatian basketball players with experience in Croatia, Turkey and Germany. He was Croatian National Team member from 2000. till the career ending injury 2005. After respectful playing career, Matej Mamic was Sports Director of BC Cedevita Zagreb for more than decade. In 2008, Matej received Franjo Bucar award, the highest recognition awarded by the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary achievements and contributions of remarkable significance to the development of sports. Selected to award the Nelson Mandela recognition in the Final Four Euroleague (2009) on behalf of the Euroleague.
Ending his spell in Cedevita, Matej became basketball agent. He has negotiated deals in all the best leagues in Europe.
